"Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I am a mental health therapist who works primarily with teens, adults, athletes, coaches, and people within the fitness industry. As a former collegiate athlete who has lived and breathed sports for most of my lifetime, I understand the complexities of balancing mental health with the demands of an active lifestyle. My approach to therapy is holistic in nature, addressing not only mental health but its critical role in physical performance and overall life balance. I am passionate about supporting people through their unique challenges and offering them the tools to thrive both mentally and physically. I would describe my style as warm and empathetic, but also willing to be direct and challenge you. Outside of work, I love spending time trying new things and hanging out with my therapy-pup-in-training, Franklin!"

Background

Elizabeth was a competitive swimmer on her high school team and club team before continuing on to swim collegiately. She competed in swimming and diving at Illinois State University before transferring to the University of Saint Thomas during their final years of their DIII era. Elizabeth has competed in DI and DIII athletics in three different college athletic conferences. She was involved in multiple student-led roles within athletics, team Captain, Dean's list, All Conference Honors, and qualified for DIII Nationals. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family Studies. She went on to receive her Master of Arts in Psychology also from the University of Saint Thomas. Elizabeth has been working in the mental health field since 2019 and is currently pursuing licensure as an LPCC. She also holds a certification as a Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner.
